The Ill, the main river of Alsace, has its source in the Jura Alsacien on the border of Switzerland. It waters the big cities of Alsace, crosses the little France in the north to Strasbourg, then flows into the Rhine.
Our furnished apartments in Horbourg-Wihr are located 300 meters from this emblematic river of Alsace, but also at the entrance to Colmar, tourist destination world famous for its historical heritage, cultural and the magic of its Christmas markets.
At 200m from a bus stop, 8mn by car and 25mn walk from the historic center of Colmar, our furnished apartments are ideally located. For your outings discovery, you will be spoiled for choice!

Once you have enjoyed the charms of Colmar, you can take the wine route (15 minutes by car) and escape into the vineyard, through the villages, visit the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg (19km), the Eagle Park (28km), Monkey Mountain (30km) and continue on your way to Strasbourg (76km).

To the south, you can make a stopover in Mulhouse (43km) and visit exceptional museums such as the Cité de l'Automobile, the Cité du train, the Museum of fabric printing and continue to Basel (Switzerland) , a beautiful city of art and history on the banks of the Rhine.

At 15km to the east, you can discover Neuf-Brisach, city entirely fortified by Vauban and classified with the inheritance of UNESCO. Continuing your 5km route, you will be in Germany in Breisach, a charming town on the Rhine.
