"We really enjoyed our brief stay in the dog-friendly Ferienresidenz Brauneberger Hof. The small town is very quaint with a superb walking path alongside the Mosel River. Our very comfortable room had patio access to the back garden for our dogs. The shared eating area and kitchen were exceedingly well-equipped. We would definitely revisit and recommend this hotel to others."

With hindsight, possibly not the best overall location for a family break but we had a good time - Bad Bertrich is more of a recuperation venue and hiking stop.
