Ellinor lookout. The more seasoned hiker will enjoy Mt. Ellinor which is the southern-most prominence on the eastern front of the Olympic Mountain Range and is a popular hiking destination throughout the year. A short drive away, Lake Cushman offers Golf and Tennis Courts as well as community parks which can be used during your stay providing access to boat launches, picnic area, horse-shoe pits, beaches and docks. During season the nearby Skokomish Campground rents kayaks, Canoes and other water gear. This great location offers 2 Parks/Boat Ramps within the immediate community and is a short drive to the seaside town of Hoodsport off HWY 101 along the western shores of the hood canal.

KITCHEN: Well equipped with standard sized refrigerator/freezer, electric stove/oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, pots and pans, toaster, crock pot, cooking utensils, basic spices and oil. Kitchen seating for four with table and chairs
LIVING SPACE: Living room seats 6 with a Flat screen Smart TV and ROKU allowing you to log in to your Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV or music video streaming account, electric fireplace, Ductless heating and cooling (AC), forced air fan to circulate if needed and a game cupboard
GENERAL: Washer/Dryer, Free High Speed WIFI (Fiber Optic, 100 mbps), extra towels and toiletries, access to general cleaning supplies, broom, vacuum
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE: Generously sized front porch - 1/3 is covered, table with sun umbrella and chairs. Front yard has a firepit which can be used when a burn ban is not in effect (please bring your own wood or purchase from the Hoodsport store).
PARKING: Gravel driveway with room for four vehicles including a vehicle with trailer; street parking is not allowed per HOA rules.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
There are 2 boat launches within the immediate Mt Rose community.
#1 boat launch is a short distance from the home (less than .5 miles) and offers a boat launch without dock, parking, picnic tables and bathroom.
#2 boat launch is a 5 min drive from home and offers a family park with amenities such as restrooms w/showers, swimming area, boat dock, covered gazebo, picnic tables, children’s play area, horseshoe pit and lake fishing.
* Owner provides an exclusive 1 Vehicle Guest Pass that provides access to the 5 Cushman Parks, 2 Lakes and the Golf Course. All Cushman parks are monitored to ensure that only members and their guests with this pass gain access to the parks.
* Daily passes for use of the boat launch and/or extra vehicles is available for purchase from the community’s association (cost is very reasonable). Owner will assist with obtaining so notify owner of need ASAP*** Use of Community Parks, Swimming Beaches and Boat Launches is limited to homeowners & guests and requires a pass for entry. We provide 1 Vehicle Guest Pass to access these areas. Additional Park day passes for a second vehicle and/or launching your boat is needed. Owner will help to arrange purchase
* Cushman is a recreational area comprised of owner lots. Although the community properties are generously sized (1/3 acre) and treed, there are neighboring lots with structures. This is not a home located on secluded acreage
* Due to the remoteness of the area, cell phones must be connected to the homes wireless high-speed internet to receive/send any communications. Use the fast fiberoptic internet for teleworking, phone calls, surfing the net, watching Netflix and streaming radio & music videos on the Smart TV.
POLICIES
-PETS: We welcome dogs that are well behaved and potty-trained. Pet fee is $20 per night, payable when reservation is made. We can accommodate up to 2 dogs. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture and do pick up after them. Pets must be on leash when outside for their safety and in accordance with the HOA covenants. A mid-sized folding dog crate is available.
-Smoking or vaping is NOT permitted in the house or on the property. Guests may smoke at the street and must collect butts to avoid a littering fee of $50.
-Nightly rental price is based on max 6 person occupancy.
- Parking of Campers, RVs, and Travel Trailers as additional guest living quarters is NOT authorized per HOA rules.
- No events, parties or large gatherings without Owner’s consent
- Must adhere to Mason County burning restrictions;
-No bonfires. An attended recreational campfire is allowed only in the fire pit unless there is a burn ban in effect
- No fireworks
- Must be at least 21 years old to book
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- The Exclusive Lake Cushman Guest Pass is located inside the home for guest use with maps of local parks and amenities
- The property does NOT have cellular phone service, unless you connect to provided internet for WIFI calling
