had a great experience close to multiple fushing areas and great food options and alot of thungs to do in the area. food, dunes, casino. had a great time thank you will definitely stay again
The cabin was super clean, and well stocked. Easy to find and very straightforward check in. It sleeps 5, but that would be a bit snug, it was perfect size for just the 2 of us and a small dog. Super convenient location near everything you would want to do up there!
The cabins are duplexes, set among trees beside a fast-flowing river. Two decks at the river's edge provide relaxing settings for reading or conversation. Although the units are small and older, the friendly and helpful owners are doing a good job of updating them, so they accomodate newer ammentities, ie microwaves, Smart TVs and Wi-fi access. The knotty pine walls added to the rustic asthetic. We felt at home in our little cabin; it served us well. The location leant itself to relaxing or many activities (ie hiking trails, water sports or shopping trips.) And sunsets over Lake Michigan were just a short drive away!
Overall this was a good choice for us as we took our dog. It will sleep 5, but it will be very crowded as living space for 5 is not large enough. Stayed in cabin 2 and was just big enough for 2 of us and golden Labrador. Food preparation area limited in space if trying to make more complex meals. The microwave was located on the refrigerator, but we had to relocate it as there was no outlet nearby to plug into. Attempted to use the grill outside the cabin but it was too cold, line must have frozen up, tank felt full. Would stay here again
The cabin was super cute, in a great location nearby to sites we wanted to visit, and had everything we needed. The road noise while trying to sleep was a bit overwhelming, so be sure to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
If you are looking for a great UP North cabin, this is it! The space was super clean, convenient location off of US 31, and very peaceful. Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The property had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. The setting was very nice and we appreciated the communal areas by the river. Thanks!
The site was well kept and tidy. Host was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. Cabins are older and not fancy. I wish there had been less dust in kitchen. The estate has "flavorful"well water so bring your own water if that's a concern. I would stay here again.
Renee and Nevin were very friendly. The cottage was cozy and very clean. We will definitely be staying again. Great location between Frankfort and Interlochen. Close enough for a day trip to Traverse City also.
The cabin had all the amenities you could need. I was very impressed.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Place looked exactly as listed. My big complaint was I could hear cars and trucks drive by all the time. Without my hearing aids on. I not a light sleeper. The place was very clean and tighty. Loved the lay out of cabin and firepit and deck for river.
