"We had a wonderful three-week stay at this cabin in West Jefferson! After spending that much time here, we really got to appreciate everything the cabin and the area had to offer.The cabin was comfortable, peaceful, and felt like a true home away from home. We especially enjoyed the beautiful mountain surroundings and the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind while still being close enough to West Jefferson for anything we needed.The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We also really appreciated how comfortable it was for our family. Three weeks is a long time to stay somewhere, and we were very happy with our choice.The area itself is beautiful, and we loved getting to experience the mountains and everything Ashe County has to offer. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The location was great, especially having direct access to the river. The river depth was perfect for the children to play and enjoy, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It would have been a nice added touch if floats or water toys were provided for guests to use.The host was very responsive and communicated quickly whenever we had questions or needed anything. It was very easy to reach out when needed.The home had all the essential things we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket. It was such a sweet and welcoming touch and made us feel right at home.We also appreciated that the home was pet-friendly, which is a great option for families traveling with pets. However, for those of us who don’t have pets and may be sensitive to them, there was a slight pet-related allergy reaction during our stay. An air purifier in the home would be a nice added touch to help filter the air and make the space more comfortable for guests with pet sensitivities.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back!"
