Cute house, great location
I needed a place to stay while getting my grandparents farm ready for an estate sale. This house was perfect. Nicely appointed with everything you need. Decorated nicely, comfy, and serene.

Country quiet
Staying with family while visiting out of state and not enough room in the inn. This Old Rock House was the perfect solution allowing space, privacy but still close by. It had everything needed, espescially comfy beds! Check in was easy, felt safe. Owners close by, but we did not need anything. This location is perfect for Jefferson City/Fulton visits. Close to town convenience, with country quiet. Highly recommend.

Amazing get awat location
We stayed at the Old Rock House for our Katy Trail ride trip. The location is great for driving to several trailheads. The house itself is so cute and welcoming! The attention to detail is amazing - from the decor to all the necessities. The back yard is huge!! And we saw deer! It was great to grill out supper with some friends and lounge on the back porch. Close to Jeff City for great eats, too. Cannot say enough great things about the owners communication and this property. 10 out of 10 recomend!

It was exactly what we were looking for, we stayed a couple of days visiting with our new great grandson. The house was exceptionally clean, and the Internet is amazing! I am so happy we found this place and will be back again and again, as that great grandson grows.

Excellent location, peaceful and quiet
This was a great place for us to enjoy some quiet while we toured the Hermann, MO, area. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals and the check-in was super easy. Completely recommend it.

What a hidden gem
What a pleasant stay we had at the Old Rock House. The house was clean and very comfortable. We couldn’t of stayed at a better place. The host were very friendly and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The only negative would be that our time there went way to fast. 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ Hope to stay again on our next trip to Missouri! Highly recommend.

Quiet and comfortable
At night barring the occasional passing vehicle it was absolutely silent and peaceful. The back porch has a sitting area that overlooks a pond. The environment is peaceful and tranquil which is a great way to relax after my work meetings. Any time I have business in Jefferson City I will be booking this location.

Gem of a place!
Rural setting, but grocery store, gas stations, cafes all not too far away. The house was clean and comfortable, the hosts were quite helpful, and we had an amazing time. Will definitely stay here again should we be in the area.

Rock House Visit. (Holts Summit, Mo)
Super clean throughout, much better than other VRBO trips. Very convenient in many ways. Furniture, lamps, end tables, and numerous outlets were ALL just like being at home. Little items like these can spoil a short stay so I THANK John & Pat for being so considerate about such things as this.

Wonderful stay at the Old Rock House
Had a great two-night stay at the Old Rock House. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked well, and while it's only a few minutes from a grocery store, gas station and restaurants, it has a rural feel to it. We spent a lot of time watching the birds and relaxing. Highly recommend. Thanks John and Pat.

This little house is a charming adaptation of an old rock cabin with a full-sized kitchen & bathroom added-on. It is comfortable and clean, thoroughly & thoughtfully provisioned. We found everything we needed right at hand. The setting is rural, in beautiful rolling hills. We watched bluebirds from the back porch. There were some pleasant extras like bathrobes and muffins. Doing business with the owners was easy because everything was exactly as specified. The main bed is soft but the other bed is firmer so you have a choice if you have comfort issues. Even though the location is decidedly rural, you are only 15 minutes from downtown Jeff. City. A take-home pizza from Arri's won't even get cold! Nothing flashy but an extremely comfortable, relaxing & pleasant stay.

We had a very nice time during our stay at The Old Rock House. House is very clean and cozy. We were able to come back to a comfortable place to stay after visiting the Lake of the Ozarks and Family. We really enjoyed our Easter Break.

Old gma decor makes you feel at home in Missouri. Friendly owner. Deposit was returned within 2-3 days. Would come back and use for family gatherings and stays to visit family again.
