"The overall aspect of the property was misleading, the property wasn't of a standard that I would expect from a Vrbo property or any rental property, the cleanliness was far from acceptable, massive cobwebs in a few rooms, stains on carpets, rugs that we really a bad trip hazards, the one at the top of the stairs which we moved, sofa bed not fit for purpose, stains on bedding, dishwasher didn't clean properly, no welcome pack, lights in the small bedroom wasn't working, mold and grime build up...

"Always like this hotel - and the staff have always been helpful. When i requested a quiet room they moved me to a room overlooking the garden area . All good, clean and comfy, complimentary water etc. They seem to have removed real ales from the bar which is a shame - although fantastic bar opposite in the station so not a biggy!"

The food was good and served quickly by staff happy to go the extra mile. Just small niggles prevented me from going 5star, a used towel left in my room, the sink plug didn't operate smoothly, the coffee machine wouldn't deliver coffee. A real shame...even so we'll probably go back in the future."
