Bed and Breakfast in Holt

"We usually stay the night before our travels from Norwich airport. The hotel is walking distance from the airport . This time we did have an issue with our room. However this was quick;y sorted out by Nikki, she was extremely helpful, very professional and wished for our stay to be a happy one. Thank you Nikki. We did have our evening meal in the restaurant. It is so nice to have a relaxing time before travelling the next day."

"This is a lovely resort just outside the centre of Cromer walkable but down hill one obviously uphill returning about 0.9 mile but taxis available if required. The Pool and on-site Restaurant were great."

"The Maid's Head Hotel is well located in the city centre. All the staff I spoke with were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. My room was decorated well and clean, with modern amenities and extras like a minifridge and bottled water. Wifi was strong. The water pressure is good with plenty of hot water. I didn't originally book breakfast at the hotel, but the next morning I decided to eat at the hotel and I am glad I did. There were plenty of options for a hot breakfast, as well as, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and pasteries for a reasonable price. "

"Amazing size room, lovely big bed. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Bathroom a bit dated, but perfectly adequate. I was on the ground floor and the noise from the room above was loud (thin ceilings?) when they were getting ready to go out in the evening, and again in the morning. Lovely leisure facilities."

"Hotel is located 2 to 3 miles from Norwich city centre. Plenty of car parking available. Buses 28, 29 and 29X all leave near Asda to the city centre. Buses are frequent. Staff at reception and in the bar were all very pleasant. Room was very clean, as was the ensuite. It was very quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold food options. Plenty of hot and cold beverages available too. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Mercure Norwich."

"For some reason, we were upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a four poster bed which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are not serviced if your stay is 3 nights or less but you can place rubbish, used towels and toiletries outside your door and they will be removed and replaced. There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening meal at the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and it was lovely to see the rabbits outside the window each morning and running around the grounds throughout the day. We've stayed here before and are planning to come back and bring the dog next time."

"Excellent stay with our dog, he was welcomed at every part of our stay and had a dog bed and treats on his arrival. We stayed in the annex which is probably best for dogs that are affected by noise as it was really quiet and also had a secure courtyard right outside our room. The food was incredible and the staff were really friendly throughout our stay. The town is walking distance and it’s a lovely area! "

"Centrally located and safe walking, had to pay for parking,3 blocks away. Washing machine did not work for drying. Excellent customer service . Would probably stay again "
