"Fantastic hotel. The host, and all the staff, were friendly and welcoming. Our room (the Peacock Suite) was immaculately clean, with thoughtful decor throughout. Both the bar area, and restaurant are

friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for walkers too, as there are lots of good walks locally."

"The room was compact, clean, had a small TV & coffee making facilities, there is a lounge area & kitchen on the same floor that we were on, although we didn’t use it I can see that would be useful, but beware if your not too mobile, there are a lot of steep stairs, also pub below is open till 12 and we did encounter a lot of noise on Sunday night, so if you’re to bed early, be warned. Bed was comfy and has a nice big shower in bathroom. "

"The cottage is really homely and lovely. Well decorated and in a nice quiet spot with parking and nice neighbours. Lovely walks and a pub nearby. Town is a little far to walk but it could be done but lots of nice coffee shops and pubs to try. Short drive home. Plus supermarket We Went to Leeds and Manchester plus Yorkshire sculpture park and local walks. Sadly had to cut trip short due to an emergency but I would certainly comeback Thank you to lovely hosts for being so kind."
