They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. "A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. The host was very communicative and let us know all details in ample time. Thanks Angela (and John) "

"We chose this accommodation for a city break. Nice modern apartment in a quiet location by the river. Approx. 20 min walk from the station, and 10-15 min walk to the main city area. Local amenities are all in easy reach. Good facilities in the apartment which was in excellent condition and clean. Communications from the team were excellent."

"The property was in a residential area just outside of York. Good location to the centre. The apartment is spacious and had everything needed for a weekend stay. The only downside we found the fridge dirty also a bit smelly. But we only used it for milk so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Fantastic French doors which let in so much light in the living room, the parking space is such a bonus. We would definitely stay again."

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "

"Location and service was excellent. Valet Parking was great, £25 for 24 hrs is cheaper than the nearest pay and display. We arrived really early and they had a room ready and offered early check in which was very handy for us. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and it was lovely. The downside is a very hard bed and no air con. "
