Other occupants were loud until midnight. They kept talking even after being asked to keep it down. I know that is the risk of a hostel, but maybe management could swing by at eleven or so to verify people are following the rules.

Unfriendly staff and unwelcoming check-in
The compound where the hotel is located looked like an industry park or old camp ground. The staff was not friendly and not knowledgable about the accommodation requestd when we booked the hotel. She had to go back to my original email requesting a room accommodating a wheelchair. After we checked in late in the evening, we sat in a bar area that was also a common sitting area with beers purchased from the bar. Since she didn;t have any food to sell and we had a long trip without food, we wanted to enjoy some snacks we brought with us. We were not bothering anyone in the sitting area. She crumpily told us not to eat our snacks. It certainly didn;t make us feel welcome at this place,

The property on the outside looks like an old army camp barracks, which it was. But the interior was very nice and modern. The temperatures were very hot in mid July this year, so without air conditioning, it was hot to sleep; but I don't think this will be a problem at other times. The restaurant only served pizza, but it was very good wood oven cooked. The salads on the menu were not available. Now the good news; the interior decor was very nice in the rooms, lobby and restaurant. Great pizza! The morning complimentary breakfast was extensive, locally sourced and fabulous! Everything you can imagine. The hotel even gives out complimentary free passes to use the pool next door! The large new pool was very nice, clean and even had a sauna, water slides in two sizes and a very good kids shallow areas, a lifeguard and a bouncy raft. The value was very good! If you like pizza and are not staying there when its 27 to 33 degrees Celcius, you will be happy with this choice.

Clean hotel for a reasonable price
The hotel is off the beaten track and a bit hard to find. Once inside, though, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good! Worth the stay and a beautiful drive from Oslo.

nice family owned hotel. kind staff, nice room. the only disadvantage was that it took us some time to find the hotel, because the GPS could not find the address that was provided with the order confirmation. we enjoyed our stay.

ok but not very convenient or close to anything
Clean facility that is a converted military barrack. On site restaurant was ok, but lacked much variety. Facility also lacked a lift (elevator). It seemed somewhat expensive for the location and facilities.

First impression not good
This motel was advertised as having a pool and gym. It did not. There is a community pool, at a cost, nearby. After highlighting the false advertising free passes were given. Manager was helpful but there is not much to see around here except for exquisite views some few kilometres away. Night time pizza was all to offer, but this was very good.

Good hotel for car travellers
The hotel is located relatively close to the airport (70 kilometres), which si good if you are arriving late. We arrived to Gardenmoen at 8 p.m. , rented the car and used the hotel as a starting point for our car trip in Norway. At the same we use it in our way back. The hotel is clean, calm, comfortable, offering good breakfast. Free WiFi works well.

Surprisingly comfortable hotel with excellent serv
The hotel is on a complex that was a former military base and now a commercial park. The hotel has obviously been renovated and suited to accomodate guests. The room was comfortable and clean. A tasty breakfast served in a comfortable dining room was part of the package offered to guests. Beautiful rural surroundings with a river nearby.

On hotels.com it shows 4 pictures of Nice big pool, but has No pool :( Old, simple hotel, but Nice and clean and was very cheap.

Reint og fint hotell på stille område
Store rom. God seng, reint og fint. Stille område. Dessverre var pizza restauranten stengt, men det er mulig å få panini med salat i baren. God frokost. Litt minus at det er utsjekk kl 11, dersom ein er veldig trøtt. Men det var eit bra rom til ein god pris.

Til å være en tidligere militærforleggging var det overraskende bra. Rene fine rom med gode senger. Frokost ble tilrettelagt av vert, du fikk hva du ville ha. Valuta for pengene.
