MY guestroom was Western in every way (tv, upright bed, a.c.) but I enjoyed my insight into real Japanese life. The proprietress is a master gardener, too."

"We had a great time at the Saik accommodation in Kanazawa. We received a friendly welcome, communication was great, the room and beds were traditional. The bus stops close to the accommodation, there is a supermarket nearby, the breakfast was delicious and lovingly packaged, there were free cosmetics and umbrellas for rainy weather.
