"Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. Only two minor issues is that the owner could invest in slightly better wifi. Was able to get the little bit of work I needed to do done but it’s very slow. Also needs to buy new pillows for the beds. They were so flat, feel like they haven’t been changed out in a couple of years."

The step out of the cabin is quite deep and could be dangerous. Our group was -a grandmother, , mother, And 2 adult daughters. I realize this may seem minor, but would be helpful. "We are counting down to when we can return. Already planning to stay again soon. We had 3 adults, 2 kids 1 teen and 2 dogs. It was incredible. We almost enjpyed the property as much as we did hiking in Hocking Hills. This was our 6th time in the area and this was my favorite property. House was perfect and divided enough that we didn't feel on top of one another. Beds were so comfortable! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub/swim spa. I can't say enough good things. So thankful for the memories made."

"You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!"
