"Nice, clean hotel with a beautiful view of the city and the Lincoln Harbor. It's personally entertaining to watch boats, choppers and airplanes go back and forth in close proximity right throughout the day and night. Also, it's one of the few hotels in New York/New Jersey with a pool. Maximum appreciation goes out to Johnathan at the front desk who listened to my birthday boys special requests and helped to provide the most peefect room to please them!"

"Receptionist was extremely helpful and nice, have to mention this first. My room was clean and had what was needed, including a fridge. Extra cot seemed a bit misplaced or added for no reason. Everything was very clean. The shower controls had some issues but overall taking a shower was working ok. A plus is the shared kitchen has free coffee/tea, there also is a little sit-down area inside and outside. Air condition in room is efficient but loud, and if room faces the street, you will hear street noise because the A/C side panel keeps the window open. The Chelsea area is great, lots of restaurants and walkable stores. 1 minute to A/C/E subway which is awesome. Would come back here for sure, maybe asking for a room facing away from the street."

"It was a GREAT stay. The location is wonderful, and compared to other hotels in NYC, very affordable. The room was just fine, enough space for me and my 2 late teen kids - my son and I slept in 1 bed, daughter in the other. Decent neighborhood, clean enough in the hotel, air conditioner worked fine. The bathroom was actually quite nice, great shower! If you're looking for a place to sleep at night after tromping around the city all day that doesn't break the bank - THIS IS IT! If you want more than that out of your hotel room in NYC you'll need to go elsewhere and spend more money. The staff was great, not very present, but also not in the way- and happy to help. The small refrigerator was constantly dripping with condensation - which was a drag. Overall the perfect place for us :-) I recommend it if you want a deal, can handle an older style room and will spend most of your time out and about."
