"We did not realize that this was a brand new hotel! And considering it had just opened a month before, things were running very well. It's a high end boutique international hotel with delightful quirky touches throughout. Ideally located in Akureyri with everything in walking distance. We had a very informative conversation with the bartenders the one night we stopped at the bar to get an after dinner drink. The room itself was spacious and well appointed. I was a big fan of all the patterns and prints and wallpapers."

"The hotel is located in the heart of the city. City parking is just 50 meters away and you only pay for the parking 10 am to 4 pm weekday. Room is clean and spacious. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. We had both breakfast and dinner there. Foods are delicious and reasonably priced."

"The room was clean and convenient, especially for those who would like to get food at the grocery store to avoid paying restaurant prices multiple times a day. Parking is tight, with just enough spaces, so if anyone does a bad job, it can be hard to park. The apartment is very convenient to the shopping and dining district, right across from an iconic church, the art museum, and botanical garden."

"Easy to find and communicating via Hotel.com messages was effective. The hotel had everything expected except for a spatula for the frying pan and the pillows could have been better. Hot tub was great and just what you need after a long day walking. It is within walking distance into the city centre."

"Very clean and as advertised. Room was a little cramped for 4 people, but we kinda expected that going in. Located in the heart of town, many restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. Only issue was that for us the room was too warm even when the temperature was turned all the way down. We had to crack the windows to sleep which made the room noisy with the sounds of the town and wind."

"I basically had a one bedroom. The house and place itself is nice. I didn't explore much of the house, but it was well decorated and quite nice to look at. My roomt was your typical bedroom with a small bathroom (enough room where it works). There was one of those heaters that was useful for drying your clothes. A plus when travelling through Iceland. I had a bike with me and the staff was helpful in finding a safe spot to lock it up. You're in a good spot, close to the downtown shopping and dining area, but far enough where it is quiet at night. So you can still get good sleep."
