Welcome to Chickamauga Lake in Chattanooga, TN! This property backs up to Dallas Bay and Chester Frost Park. Only minutes to downtown! Your Chattanooga vacation will be unforgettable with the ease and amenities offered by this comfortable lake side retreat. All of our guests will stay in absolute luxury.
This home has 3 King Beds (ranging from memory foam, to a firm sleeper, depending on your preference), 1 Queen Bed, 1 large sectional couch that converts to a full bed, and 2 available air mattresses (a small one for kids/teens and one queen sized Intex Comfort for adults). The home also has two Living Areas, a Gourmet Kitchen, a Secondary Kitchenette, a large Dining area, Screened in Porch with outdoor seating, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Basketball Court, and a Dock! What`s not to love? The expansive back yard stretches all the way to the water with plenty of room for outdoor entertaining and games or just room for kids to run. There is ample parking for cars, trailers, boats, etc. You will be provided with new corn hole boards and multiple complimentary kayaks! The house also comes equipped with EPB Fi-Speed 1 GIG Wi-Fi, which provides lag free gaming and lightening fast buffer-free video streaming. The backyard is perfect for relaxing in hammocks by the lake, so feel free to bring your personal enos and hang them in the variety of trees that the backyard has to offer.
Less than 1/4 mile away from the lake house is Chattanooga’s newest attraction, “Nooga Splash,” which is an inflatable, on-the-water obstacle course providing hours of fun for kids of all ages. It is conveniently located at the beach inside Chester Frost Park and hourly and/or daily passes can be purchased.
Available by phone or email.
Walking distance to Chester Frost Park which is known for its amenities such as a Beach, 3 Playgrounds, Fishing, Camping, Boat Ramps, Tennis and Pickleball Courts, Volleyball and more! If you can bring yourself to leave, you are only a short drive to all Chattanooga has to offer including Rock City, Ruby Falls, The TN Aquarium, Children`s Discovery Museum, Great Restaurants and more!
We are pet friendly, but kindly request family pets be limited to 2 per stay. Also, based on county regulations, all pets must be leashed when outside. Just a short walk out the back door of the Lakehouse is the brand new `Dog Paddle` dog park, offered by Chester Frost Park. The dog park provides room for the dogs to run and play, dog agility equipment, benches for their owners, and a pet waste station. The Dog Paddle dog park is loved by both the dogs and their owners!
It`s important to note that the Lakehouse is located on the shore of Lake Chickamauga, which varies it`s lake level seasonally. In the spring, summer, and fall, the lake is maintained at full pool which floats the dock and makes a wonderful place for swimming and kayaking. In the winter, the lake is lowered for environmental reasons and the waters edge recedes several yards past the end of the dock. The scenery is still quiet and beautiful, but the lower lake level and colder temperatures make swimming and kayaking less conducive.
There is also a private neighborhood access road bordering the rear of the property that can be used to turn around trucks and boat trailers. Please do not travel on the access road behind the other neighbor`s house and please do not park/block the access road. The county park has kindly requested we keep that access road clear in case emergency vehicles need to use it. Rules: • No Smoking • Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise down especially after dark. They have our phone numbers and will call if there is an issue. • No swimming or water activities after dark. • Please do not drive off the drive way as the ground is very soft and you may get stuck. No parking in grass. Also, the access road at the rear of the house may be used to turn trucks/trailers around, but cannot be parked on or blocked. Also, guests are not permitted to drive behind neighbor`s houses on access road either. • If you use the fire pit, don’t leave a burning fire unattended. • Lock all doors when leaving the house. • Please take care of the house like it was your own. • No Pets on furniture. • Do not use charcoal in the gas grill, if the propane tank is empty, please contact us. • No one under the age of 21 is allowed to drink alcohol on the property and no alcohol is permitted on Chester Frost Park land (property past driveway and extending to water, including dock).

Everything during our stay was perfect. Owners were helpful, rooms were clean, kitchens and bedrooms were great. We our favorite part was the screened-porch and private dock.
We had a great time at this property, and had plenty of room to all be together indoors and outdoors! There was very cool weather while we visited, so the fire pit and hot tub were awesome features to be able to still spend a lot of time outdoors!
A great home away from home while visiting our son’s family in Hixson. Such a quiet and relaxing setting and home. No water sports, hiking, hot tub or fire pit due to weather but what great options
With half the family living in Florida and the rest in southern Wisconsin, we picked Chattanooga as a central meeting place and booked this lovely home on a lake close to all the attractions in the area. There’s plenty to do on property or mix it up a little with a trip to Ruby Falls or the Look Pit Mountaon incline railway. Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! It offered plenty of room and was comfortable. It's location on the lake was perfect, especially with the kayaks available! We took advantage of it multiple times. It was also a perfect distance from main Chattanooga that we could visit during the day and not have to be out all day. Definitely worth 5 stars.
We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The house was clean, stocked well with kitchen supplies and outdoor equipment for the lake, basketballs and various other toys and games. The owners were really attentive and helpful with our check-in experience and the lake was great, we all enjoyed kayaking and fishing. It was a really relaxing stay!
Loved walking down to the dock for fishing and kayaking! Very convenient to the water. House was very clean. Everyone truly enjoyed. Neighbors were a bit closer than we liked, but hopefully we didn’t bother them! Great time!
This property is beautiful and was great for my family! The house is very spacious, beautiful bedrooms, sunroom, and fully equipped kitchen. We are anxious to return during the summer to enjoy the large backyard and lake. The owner was accessible and answered questions immediately. I would definitely recommend this property!
Location was great. Nice walking trails near by. Close to Chattanooga with no hassle getting there. House was very clean and cozy. Exactly as advertised. Communication with owners was excellent. All questions were answered promptly. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at this house! The house itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of places to gather with our family (6 adults, 4 kids).
We appreciated the dock/kayaks- the lake there is great for paddling, but also splashing around for hesitant swimmers wearing water shoes! It’s super close to a park with a sandy beach area and swimming section, and an easy drive to all of the ‘tourist’ attractions.
The owners were super communicative and quick to problem solve!
Definitely recommend this property.
We wanted a family getaway with our three adult sons and the oldest’s wife and two daughters. Yes, the granddaughters! This lake-fun house was perfect for our purposes—easy access to Chattanooga, a day trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park, and disc golf down the road at Dallas Island. The floor plan works great, with two indoor levels, three outdoor levels (one screened in, one with a hot tub), and backyard space (fire pit and basketball court), and a good view of the lake beyond. The kitchen was large and functional and the beds were great. Loved it!
Terrific fun week at the lake! Our daughters and their families joined us for a relaxing vacation. The house and setting are terrific. Plenty of room for all of us. The screened in porch, deck, hot tub & fire pit were put to great use. Daily paddles on the lake in the provided kayaks, Chester Frost park next door with swimming beach, inflatable waterpark and playground, Chattanooga minor league baseball game, aquarium, downtown park with spash pad and carousel were all favorite activities. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
We decided to rent this charming but spacious lake home to gather with our 4 children and 4 grandchildren to celebrate Christmas. This getaway had plenty of room for all of us to gather together for fun and games. The host was AMAZING! The furnace decided to break down when all businesses closed for the holiday, yet in 30 minutes our host had 2 options for us. We chose to stay to stay and were given enough heaters to keep us very comfortable. We highly recommend making this property your next getaway! We all highly recommenenough heater
Love this home! Super clean and very responsive hosts. It was the perfect size to meet our family for lake fun! The downstairs area was great to put the teenager neice and nephew. The owners even purchased a hair chair for my toddler to use during our stay. The boat lauch is super close and we used the dock to park it over night. The only downside is the water is very shallow near the dock so we had to walk the boat it and there is alot of lake grass near it.
This house was the perfect “middle ground” location to meet up with family and enjoy a long weekend together. We wanted something relaxing that provided activities so that we didn’t have to leave the house often. This location checked all the boxes. The lake view was gorgeous. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking, relaxing in the hot tub, and quiet evenings on the screened in porch enjoying nature. On the one day we did venture out to sightsee, the house was just a quick drive to Ruby Falls and the Incline Railroad. The house provided ample space for our large group and was stocked with everything we could need. Check in and out was simple. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely choose this location again for a future visit.
We had a great time at the Lake House with family and friends celebrating our girl's sweet 16. I brought everything but the kitchen sink with us but I needn't have! The kitchen was well stocked and they had everything we needed at our fingertips. We enjoyed the kayaks at the property, the hot tub, the grill, the back porch, the dock, the lake, the big screen tv and everything! The Owner had everything ready for us and even mowed a nice path through the beautiful, natural backyard for us to take the kayaks to the water. Deer walking the property at sunset and sunrise was an added bonus. The Owners were wonderful and responding quickly to all my silly questions. The house is decorated so lovely and so many little, personal touches. We appreciate everything!! We made great memories with family and friends. We hope to come back soon!!
Great place to stay. Peaceful and lots of space outside. Kids enjoyed playing in the lake and the included kayaks were a lot of fun. House is comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great too!
