Ocean Pearl (Oceanfront - Amazing Views )

"This place was fantastic — the location and the views from the balcony were incredible! The property was even nicer than we had expected from the photos in the listing, and in a convenient location within Port Renfrew (about 3 mins by car from the general store, restaurants, and seafood vendor — check out Seafom Seafoods for super fresh wild-caught salmon!).We had one issue with the door lock keypad not working, but Lynda was able to help us access the physical key, which we used without issue for the rest of the stay. Other than that, the only other downside was that some things weren’t very clean when we arrived (e.g., the cookware in the kitchen, cigarette on the balcony chairs). Everything in the kitchen functioned well, though, and the fire table on the balcony was easy to use.It’s hard to overstate how nice the views are from the balcony — looking right out over the marina at the inlet (and Pacheedaht Beach to the right), the scenery is spectacular! We had repeat visits from two bald eagles over the course of our stay, who perched in the trees directly across from the balcony and fished near the marina while we watched. It was also an ideal location from which to explore the area around Port Renfrew.Overall, we had a fantastic time here, and we can’t wait to visit again!"

"The location was perfect. We were able to access many of the trails nearby, arriving early, so we could find a parking spot. We also enjoyed the pub nearby. The staff also responded promptly to an issue with the bed in our room. It was fixed by the time we returned from our hike. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!"

"This place is perfect! Small and cozy, gorgeous setting, super well appointed home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck surrounded by the trees and using the bbq and hot tub. It was a great launchpad for exploring the many beautiful trees and beaches in the area."

"If you are looking for a getaway to the more rugged parts of the west coast of Vancouver Island, this property is ideal. It is easy to get to, the owners/host are super efficient at communications and providing useful information and the cabin is close to most of the areas to explore and to the local store and restaurant/cafe and pub. While there are a number of other cabins nearby, our cabin was well secluded and there was little or no noise from other occupied cabins. The rooms were clean and comfortable and well equipped for cooking, or games for those rainy moments. We loved the walks and hikes nearby and it was easy to find decent food within a few minutes walk. The advance info from the host was really useful and should be read carefully before setting off!"
