"Hotel was schoon en netjes, echter gedateerd. Kamers oud. Personeel was zeker vriendelijk. We hadden met diner gekozen maar de opties waren summier en het eten helaas niet altijd lekker, zijn daarom een paar keer ergens anders geweest. Dorpje was saai maar de omgeving heeft genoeg leuke plekken (Pitzdal, Otzdal, Imst)."

"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. The furnishings looked to be very fancy in the 1930's, part of it's charm. Everything was very clean, though feather pillows need a little more stuffing. Loved the balcony for every room. Also,...

"Sehr schönes, neues Hotel, toller Wellnessbereich, überschaubare Größe. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sensationell, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht, es gibt ein 5-Gänge-Menü. Das Parksystem war ungewohnt für uns, man muss den Schlüssel abgeben und das Auto wird von den Mitarbeitern geparkt. Es hat aber alles perfekt geklappt. Das Hotel ist umgeben von Bergen mit endlosen Wandermöglichkeiten. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. "

"The staff was extremely helpful and available at all times. The room was clean and spacious and the views were amazing. Very quiet area but still plenty to do and explore. Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. "

"Check in was seamless. We stayed in the Dependance 2 which is very new. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was that they don’t have air conditioning or fans. Most times of the year this is fine as you can open the windows to let in the fresh mountain air, but we were there over a heat wave and it felt pretty warm at night. Buffet breakfast is included and there are lots of options. The location could not be better. It is surrounded by the mountains. You can walk to 3 castle ruins from the hotel parking lot. The ruins are lit up at night and so pretty. The hotel has a restaurant on site, but there are also many restaurants in neighbouring towns. Staff are hard working and readily available. I highly recommend the Dependance 2, and would be happy to come back again. "

"Vaya Pfunds is situated in a beautiful small Austrian Village perfect for walking and cycling etc and as a hub for wider valley activities. The rooms are spacious, the food choices very good and the transport links are also very good with the bus stop right outside. The Tourism office is also just over the road. The hotel does have WiFi but speeds aren't great. This was my second visit and I'd chose this hotel again. "
