"Stopped at the Stone House Inn after a day of winter hiking in Ohiopyle. Our group of 4 friends had an incredible experience at the inn- the location was convenient for traveling in Ohiopyle, and the rooms were cozy with some great history. Games and breakfast were provided, dessert at the restaurant was amazing, and we were so pleasantly surprised. We will absolutely come back!"

"The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars."

Great stay near Frank L Wright spots

"Comfy hotel within 30 minutes to three FLW homes in the area. Our three night stay included a nice daily breakfast at 6am which had hot food each day - eggs, sausage, waffles. Nice view of the river, too. A few cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk, and a really good one right next door. We would definitely stay again! "

"The staff at the lodge was amazing! We had several issues, but they resolved each issue almost immediately. Our room had a kitchenette. We found it to be very well equipped. My only note of concern was that the shades of the room were not blackout shades. We woke up very early with the sun. We would definitely stay there again."
