Recently renovated cottage located in the heart of Highlands. Located less than one mile from downtown Highlands, this 3 bedroom 3 bathroom cottage boasts long range mountain views. Open floor plan with large living area perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. Wifi, SmartTV with YoutubeTV and Netflix. Easy access to the large deck that includes a gas grill and solo stove outdoor fire pit. New kitchen has all you need for cooking a delicious meal. Sit at the large dining room table or the kitchen island! Another large living room downstairs perfect for watching Football or playing games. Close to all that Highlands has to offer! Walk to town to shop or take a short drive to hiking trails!

Bedroom #1 - Cozy master suite with King Bed and mountain views. Smart TV, walk in closet, and beautiful custom shower.

My friends & I have stayed at several properties for our annual girls reunion over 20 years and we all agreed this was the best so far. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and playing a game with a beautiful view. The host was very interactive and helpful. The kitchen was excellent and well equipped. We also, loved seeing all the natural wildlife. Walking to town could be a bit of a challenge if not in fairly good shape.

The house was perfect for our weekend stay. We appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. On our first morning there were k-cups available and coffee filters for auto drip coffee. We took a trip for a friend's birthday and everyone loved the house (they said I could be in charge of that every time because of the great find). Usually it looks better in the pictures than real life, but I thought it was even better in person than I thought from the pictures. Everything was perfect and we would return again.

We chose this beautifully appointed home for a getaway weekend — it was perfect! Super comfortable beds, really well equipped kitchen, updated bathrooms, and tons of lounging space for connecting. Appreciated being able to use the garage. Missed the fact that the indoor fireplaces are not working—only drawback for me. Excellent communication with the host. Definitely 5 stars!

Cozy mountain home

We loved a lot of things about this home. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds were comfy with nice linens. The kitchen is big and well stocked. The decor is perfecto. The location is great!! Communication with owners was easy and efficient. Our only two complaints were: we could not use the fireplace (that is what you want in the chilly mountains!) and checkout was 10am, which seemed a bit too early. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend in a cozy mountain home, and we look forward to returning.

Conveniently located close to town. The home was clean and well appointed with a appliances and cooking utensils. The house was easy to get in and out of. We enjoyed the deck and TVs to stay on top of college and NFL games. We enjoyed the coffee table books about the history of the Highlands. Definitely would recommend to others visitors to the area. The ice maker was a little wonky. So for the late review

Cozy house with a distance view

Listing was very accurate. Hosts were helpful and easy to reach. Full size washer and dryer in the garage was nice. Whole house was very clean. It had nice touches that made it feel like a home, not the usual inexpensive art and decor. My only negative is the sheets were polyester (many other rentals use these). They do not breath. The location was very quiet, all private single homes. However, the road into the house is very narrow, not wide enough for two cars. It was kind of nerve-racking wondering if we were going to meet another car on the road. (There is no shoulder, just off the road or into side of the hill)
