"Please just skip this smells like mildew, The bed was horrible but linen was filthy and dirty The carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Would not stay again."

"No pool side but the amenities were excellent, located across the street from registration office. Golf course was not open which was a bummer but overall very nice place to stay. We would so stay again."

"This property is well located. Outskirts of town but still walkable. Nice coffee shop on site. Staff is friendly. Our room was small but nice and clean. Very comfortable king bed! The place has a 1970’s kind of vibe. Older property but rooms have been nicely restored on the inside. Cozy lobby with fireplace and outdoor firepits. Fun experience! Reasonably priced."

"We stayed at Highlander Mountain House for our 5-year wedding anniversary and overall the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were clean, the design and atmosphere are amazing, and the location is one of our favorites in Highlands. We also loved The Ruffed Grouse and the overall experience of the hotel. The only downside was the noise situation during our stay. The hotel was fully booked with a wedding party, and unfortunately the guests in the room next to us were extremely loud both Thursday and Friday night, continuing well past 1am. We even politely asked them ourselves to keep it down, but it continued. I completely understand people are celebrating and having a special weekend, but when rooms are this close together, there should be a little more consideration for other guests staying at the property, especially those also there for quiet getaways or anniversaries. I also think the hotel staff should take more precautions when hosting full wedding weekends to help separate non-wedding guests or better manage noise expectations late at night. It honestly put a damper on what was otherwise a really special anniversary trip for us, which is disappointing because everything else about the property was wonderful."

"Staff was good. Check-in and out no delays. Room was clean. It’s an ok motel close to everything nothing fancy. It served its purpose for the price. "

"We stayed here for the first time in May . The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very nice. At first I thought the bed was too low. Let me tell you it was so comfortable.The pillows and the bed were so comfortable it was a wonderful night sleep . We would definitely stay here again ."

"Nice staff. Parking right outside my room. Basic room which was fine for my one night. Soft towels which I appreciated after a long day. Updated furnishings but bed frame a tad squeaky if you sat on it. Breakfast yogurts cereal apples and muffins available. "
