"The hotel is beautiful and the room is large and clean. But there was so much thumping and the sound of chairs being dragged etc, from early in the morning in the room above ours that we got very little sleep. Several times it was so bad that we thought someone was knocking loudly on our door, and it scared us awake. I told the front desk when we left but they didnt seem overly concerned with making it right. "

"Shower mat is stained, bed sheets stained, toilet paper roll was almost empty upon arrival, coffee was gone at 8:15am. "

"Listing property itself was excellent and was clean and as described. I appreciated it had central AC and was relatively quiet at night making it well suited for someone in town for work.Two small issues- the door lock was tricky and I couldn't get it open for about 5 minutes. When I notified the contact for the listing I did not receive a reply, but luckily I eventually got the lock to work. The listing contact responded to me two days later which indicates potentially unresponsive person on weekends (I checked in Saturday night). "

"The hotel a/c unit rattled in which one could not sleep. I left at 5 AM due to the rattling. Then I was placed near the highway which you could hear. The hotel was not full and why could you not be placed opposite of the hotel. The clerk asked - did you complain. What is the point? You are attempting to sleep. Who wants to get up in the middle of the night to change rooms have someone come in to take a look in the middle of the night. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone."

"This is supposed to be a luxury hotel and that was not the experience. The rooms were fine, but nothing more elevated than a Holiday Inn Express. An hour and a half to get brunch (open seating) when there were only 12 people in the restaurant. No manager. No bartender. There was a noisy party in the restaurant who would not be escorted out to the lobby - they were not patrons. Wait staff was not trained in even the simplest of procedures (pour water in the water glasses; bring everyone's food out). The acoustics in the dining room were not what they once were when this hotel was a destination years ago. They have arches in the ceiling and hardwoods on the floor without sound absorption so essentially all the sound is echoing off each other, which makes it highly difficult to have a nice dining conversation at the table."
