We did gem mining, and visited the Bavarian Town in Helen, Ga with its little shops, beer gardens and lovely live music. Some of our friends and family hiked some of the Appalchian Trail. Our host was very generous with wood for the firepit and sent us ideas for our stay."

"We had a fun and relaxing time. The cabin was as advertised, very clean and comfortable. The yard was beautiful and the sounds of the creek were wonderful when relaxing by the fire pit. The host was great at communication and the check in was easy. Just know that Cell phone coverage with at&t was non existent at the cabin and we really didn’t get coverage until driving almost in to Hiawassee several miles away so plan accordingly. Overall, We would definitely consider visiting again."
