"Outstanding family owned property with one of the best views on the island. The rooms were very impressive although they do need a refresh in some areas but overall very nice. Everyone - and I mean everyone - we met around the island and at The Reefs were polite, friendly and helpful which separates this island from all others. The restaurants at the Reefs were very good and you cannot beat the free breakfast which kept us full all day. Unfortunately we had rain throughout our vacation and the owners threw a “rainy day cocktail party” in lieu of their dinner on the beach. It was very impressive that the owner went around and met the guests which, just does not happen at larger, corporate-owned properties. We will be back to the property soon to visit and see the island in the sunshine! Great stay overall."

"Good location on bus route . Room was very nice , large & overlooking pool . ONLY complaint was floor of room & bathroom needed a good cleaning . Staff was excellent & great continental breakfast brought to room each morning!"

"Room is updated and nice but it still had a few small annoyances. For example, the sliding door had no screen so we could not leave it open and the patio furniture was cheap and old. The bathroom fan did not work so a shower left the entire room humid and wet. The lobby is niceish but the pool area, hallways and grounds are very dated. Beach looks pretty but it was unfortunately raining during our stay so I can not say for sure. Not a great place to stay in bad weather; there was nothing to do; the restaurant and bar had very limited hours."

"Azura is an amazing resort! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The pools are lovely, with comfortable seating and umbrella everywhere! The food at Surf is delicious and the menu pleasing. We ate there often! But the best thing is the view of the ocean! Set high on the cliffs overlooking the South Shore, the sea and sky is panoramic! The ocean was clear and we could see the fish from above. We cannot wait to go back!"

"Fabulous stay with fabulous hosts on a fabulous island. Location is SUPERB. On the best part of the best side (south) of Bermuda! Beaches closeby often deserted and pristine!!! Snorkelling best ever! Huge parrot fish everywhere! Wendell and Xenia are simply the most friendly helpful sweet and charming hosts you could ever wish to have! They made our stay so wonderful! The room is small!- and a little dated but charming and had useful touches - like a cold box you could take to the beach with an ice pack in for cold drinks. We spotted humpback whales just in front of the house most mornings (March to May) Take good binoculars! We rented a 2 person scooter from Elbow Beach cycles (great service) as car hire is a fortune!! Roads are busy but so glad we did as gives you freedom to explore the island which we did. Meals and drinks are London prices plus 50%!!! It is not cheap!! Be warned! Buses are frequent easy and q cheap. Get book of 15 passes on Shorelink App! 10GB eSIM data plenty only 30 from Saily! Keeps you connected on the move. WiFi at the property fast and excellent. We used ear plugs and eye masks as we are light sleepers (main road close to room) Go stay with Wendell!- he now has a second larger more updated room in his house. You will have the best time!!!! We did! Jasmine (daughter) will pick you up from airport for 65 (much cheaper than taxis and will go via grocery store for provisions!) Take duty free booze with you out there to enjoy on your varandah! GO!!"

"Great spot and central to what I needed/wanted to access"

"This home is just a short walk away from bus stops and a well stocked grocery store. We ate some meals at home on our outside patio but also walked to a couple of nearby restaurants. You can walk to Horseshoe Bay Beach via Scenic Hights Drive. Day excursions were easy by using the shorelink bus pass system. After a busy day out it felt great to return home to this little cottage and drift off to sleep to the music of chirping frogs. The provided snorkels were a nice perk for our beach day at Church Beach. The hosts were responsive to any requests we had. This guest house is a lovely option for two people."

"Our stay in this beautiful villa overlooking Horseshoe Bay was fantastic. Jess was an incredible host and stayed highly responsive throughout our trip. Her local recommendations were spot on, including a reliable taxi driver who seamlessly accommodated our group of eight and Pat, who prepared a delicious meal and served us in style at the villa. If you book, do not miss the carrot cake - it was a highlight of the night! We had a lovely time and highly recommend this spot."
