"This is our second stay at this hotel and in Helen. We stayed 3 nights in May. Our check-in was smooth. Reception staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was facing the parking lot on the 3rd floor. It was clean, except for some stains in 2 towels. We got a replacement bath towel from the front desk staff who apologized for it(manager may be). Also, we later found another stain in the bedsheet. But it was too late, and were too tired to do something about it. The bed was otherwise ok....

"The room we booked stated that it was a loft unit with a bedroom and a loft and one bathroom. The one we got had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, no loft. We were happy to have the extra bathroom, but please note that the description of the room does not match the actual room. It could be they just give you whatever is available. "The place was a perfect get away cabin. The rustic style interior, the hot tub to the amazing bed. Yes the bed was amazingly comfortable. It was quaint and perfect for our stay. Booking was simple. "Had a girls trip with my 2 besties and it was great! Super clean, lots of amenities and super cute. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, made a few meals in the kitchen (pots and pans included and even an ice maker!) And the hot tub was wonderful. Super close to Helen for the Oktober Fest (about 11 miles). 10 out of 10 would recommend!"

"Had a great weekend getaway here. The property was cleaned well and beautifully furnished. The location is far enough off the main roads that you’ll have to traverse a few unpaved miles. Hot tub is not sheltered from rain or sun, just so you’re aware. But it is in working order, and that’s nice. Property managers were wonderful to work with. Would totally book with them again."

Nice little place
"We enjoyed the home - it had several nice aspects. Very clean, good kitchen, the king bed was super-comfortable, and the many options in lighting and ceiling fans was appreciated. The screened porch overlooking the forest with the sound of the river in the background was wonderful – well furnished with rockers, tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, without bugs! The creek access is down a steep grade through the trees, with flights of wooden steps, but neither up nor down was more than any relatively fit adult can handle. The creek bank was fairly level, with soft moss and grass – perfect spot for relaxing in a camping chair or putting your feet in the water. Home needs more trash baskets; facial tissues would be nice; bath soap is NOT provided. Some information about local attractions, hikes, restaurants, etc. in a guest packet would br helpful and hospitable. VERY close to road and neighbors. As stated in the description, there is NO cell service, don't bother trying. Wi-fi is fine in the house, but doesn't even reach driveway or fire pit. Overall, a comfortable home and a good deal. Would likely return."
