"Nice quiet stay "

"Gathering held at guesthouse and hotel. Everyone really enjoyed the accommodations and were very pleased with the sleeping arrangements. The beds are super nice with excellent bedding (pillows, sheets and quilts). The kitchens were both spacious enough to accommodate all of our needs. The additional refrigerator in the hotel really helped with the overflow. There is a spacious green area behind the buildings ideal for yard games. The extra facilities available are immense and allow for extra recreational opportunities. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wishing to accommodate a large group. Ken, the host was great. He answered all of my questions and was available throughout our stay for any issues or requests. We also ordered cupcakes from the Grimm Girls and were very pleased. Thank you for the wonderful time and the memories we will all have."

"My husband and I needed a few days of quiet and solitude and Janet and her cottage were perfect in every way! The covered porch made for a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the rain and the birds singing. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen provided what I needed to cook (one of my ways to unwind), the fireplace was a great addition...Janet thought of everything. The property and the cottage exude peace...just what we needed!"

"Our stay was very comfortable in a well appointed house. The location right on the Missouri River was amazing. Sunrises and sunsets over the river were postcard quality. The host was so gracious, communicated well with us, and had the home well stocked. It's a very peaceful place for a getaway."

"This is the perfect little rest stop for traveling. It’s not in a big city, so not a ton to do, but it is quiet and peaceful. It’s not crowded, which I prefer when traveling. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and there was a quick breakfast there in the morning (with an awesome tea selection). "

"We had to cut our trip short due to family issues but found the property to be very charming and clean. The kitchen appeared well stocked if you needed to cook meals. Quiet street and safe to walk our dogs. About a 15 minute drive to Saint Joseph."
