Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, a Hiawassee mountain home with a gorgeous year round view of the Appalachian mountains and Lake Chatuge. Enjoy a large porch with western exposure. This home has 3 bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms with TV's are on the main level with 2 full baths. One bathroom has a tub shower combo and the other has a jetted garden tub. Fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer on the main level and a second washer and dryer downstairs off the kitchenette, The living room on the main level has a large sofa and sitting areas with a beautiful view of the mountains and a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen table has seating for 5 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. A spiral staircase leads to a downstairs second living area with a large pit group sofa for reclining to watch movies or TV. Downstairs also has a kithchenette with a second refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. The third bedroom downstairs has king bed and TV. A full bathroom is also downstairs as an ensuite to the king bedroom. A separate area has a pool table, TV and seating with access to the outside lower level. There are two 4 person high bistro table a regular height around dining patio table that also seats 4 people. Extra bedding for children or petite adults on 2 padded cots with sheets extra linens Two steps to the main floor from the parking area and wrap around balcony. Come and visit Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, you will not believe the view!

Very spacious home with great view

Great location and beautiful view. The home is much more spacious than the photos make it appear to be. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to all our questions. Would stay here again.

Great location with everything you need. My wife and I had our own room and bathroom and both boys had their own bed and bathrooms. Enjoyed the pool table and the views.

Beautiful, well-equipped and well-maintained home.

Without question, one of our favorite rental homes ever. Incredible views with every possible amenity. There is no doubt that we will return to this location for a longer visit in the future. Relaxing at its finest

We loved watching the birds with the amazing view in the background. The house was clean and welcoming. Even though it was so close to hiawassee you feel miles away in the cabin. Owner was great to work with and was prompt with returning our security deposit, we've had problems with other owners in the past. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This property and view are just amazing! House is very clean and comfortable and roomy and well supplied to meet all your needs. I will say that the road up to the cabin is steep and curving according to us flatlanders that are not accustomed, but we managed pretty well! Communication to the manager was great and any questions or concerns were met immediately! We would reccomend this property and others managed by this person to anyone and we would absolutely return! Thank you for sharing this property with us and your hospitality!

Wonderful Weekend Gateway

We really enjoyed our weekend gateway at Bel Aire Overlook. The cabin had everything you needed and we loved the extra touches like the Kuerig and the coffee pods to go with it. We really enjoyed sitting with our coffee in the morning and watching all the birds in the bird feeders. Chris was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His guests' comfort seems to be a very high priority to him.

PERFECT!!!!

This was a perfect house for a get-away! First of all, the view was breathtaking. Pictures can't do it justice. We only used the upstairs of the house and it was great. The kitchen had every pot and pan we needed (we did bring our own foil and plastic wrap and were glad we had.) The bedrooms were quite large and comfy and they had a view of the mountains. We spent quite a bit of time out on the deck. Plenty of seating and, again, we could not tear ourselves away from the view. Inside, there was plenty of space and comfortable furniture to sit around. We are already looking at our calendars trying to figure out when we can go again! This home is extremely close to the grocery store, gas stations and a Walgreens so even though we felt like we were on our own mountaintop, we could easily dash out if we needed to. Karen was VERY attentive and quick to respond. We had a great long weekend here!

Short But Great Get Away With Another Couple

I have read through several of the reviews on Chris and the rental property. All they say is true. The property is comfortable, clean, well stocked with many unexpected extras, and the view was great. We happened to rent at the right time and received a great last minute rate, too. We are referring this to several of our friends, and definitely plan to stay again at some point in the future. One minor thing I might mention, which was not a problem for us, but might be if everyone in your party are older seniors. The small circular staircase between the first and second floor might be of concern. Also the steep road up to the property, while normally not a problem, could be in snow or icy weather. All in all, a really nice place to stay. Thanks Chris, From Bill, Betty, Pete and Evlyn

The property is located up on a steep hill in a narrow driveway. You have to make a 3 point turn when you get there. You’re rewarded of the spectacular views of the mountains and the lake from the porch however, once you get there. There’s plenty of room to move around. There were 4 of us and we didn’t feel like we were crowding on each other’s spaces.There is a spiral staircase to the bottom floor which took some getting used to. My wife and I took the bed below and I had to carry our luggage from the outside stairs down to our bedroom. Not much hassle. Like I said, it just took some time to get used to it.The owner was very helpful and gave us a lot of advice on where to go shopping, points of interest and so on.Overall, we enjoyed staying here.

Mother’s Day Retreat

A beautiful location with all the comforts of home. Conveniently located near local shops and restaurants. The drive up the mountain took a little getting used to but was manageable. The view from the deck is stunning. Our family found the home to be very comfortable and enjoyable.
