"The pool isn’t a real thing… like it’s there but who knows the last it worked… the first room we were put in had bed bugs which I didn’t find until 2am getting eaten alive. Went to tell the guy and got switched rooms. That room also had bed bugs so I finally gave up and drove back out of town to at-least get a couple hours of sleep before being a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding. Which the made me so busy I couldn’t even contact them to attempt to not pay for the entire weekend.. but there is a sign that says you can’t get a refund after only FIFTEEN minutes in the room… idk I’m so disappointed I paid $70 a night to get bed bugs and had to sleep on someone’s couch…"
"It was clean.and nice. but as a maintenance man my self i found little things that I would have taken care of. Burnt out light bulbs ,tv directions, on how to operate. Touch up scuffs. Just little things. Over all not a bad place to stay."
"When pulling up to the facility it appears that it is not a well kept facility, however once entering it looks well kept and clean. Our room was nice for an overnight stay. The only negatives were it looked like they forgot to sweep the tile and while showering in the evening the water went cold almost like more than one person at a time in the building couldn’t shower. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. For the most part it was a nice place to stay."
"We stayed in Winfield for our son’s wedding and booked four rooms for the weekend for family. Some stayed three nights, others two. Unfortunately, none of us would stay here again.
Our bed felt like a mattress on a board, and I woke with hip and lower back pain that worsened over the stay. We were told there were no other rooms available when we asked to switch. Other family members said their beds were somewhat better, but experiences varied.
The AC/heater units were very loud and rattled. In two rooms, the sink was outside the bathroom, which was inconvenient since there was no bathroom mirror. One toilet was visibly stained, which was off-putting.
Positives included large, working TVs and carpet that seemed fine. However, several fans were placed in the second-floor hallway for unknown reasons.
A major issue was the strong marijuana smell throughout both floors. When mentioned to staff, the response was simply “yeah” with no action taken. The key card entrance system also did not appear to be working.
Our sons’ room had a serious issue with the water—it had a strong, unpleasant smell, so they avoided showering and used bottled water to brush their teeth.
The hotel overall feels very dated with little to no updates. The continental breakfast looked minimal, though we did not try it.
Overall, it met the basic need of lodging for a family event, but cleanliness, maintenance, and responsiveness were disappointing."
Charming & Stylish 2-bedroom house with free WiFi in Winfield
6/10 Okay
"Host was easy to get in touch with when we didn’t get our check in details email. Inside the property was clean and as described. Main bedrooms mattress seemed to be of a foam filling and worn, aka you sink when you sit/lay. Outside the property was okay. Our family is highly allergic to cats and were not anticipating to be greeted by stray cats all over the property. Ultimately, we did not stay the night. "

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay! Crystal caught an error I made on the stay date, she was so kind to let my dog stay when I couldn't find a sitter, and was quick to take my call when I had a question. So glad to have a great place to stay in Dexter. Highly recommend!"
