The rooms and property exceeded my expectations. Well maintained and beautifully appointed. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The property is on the hillside giving gorgeous views. I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine. You can't go wrong booking this wonderful property.

The Hotel has a really nice pool area and the view to the ocean is great. We had half Board and the food was ok. Amazing breakfast though we were disappointed by the sandwiches we received instead of breakfast on our departure date as we had to leave before 8.

The staff and family who run the hotel go above and beyond for everyone, no detail missed. Nothing is too much trouble and they offer services before you even ask. Spotlessly clean. Food amazing. The hotel and rooms are just stunning. We were worried we might be a little far from restaurants and bars but the local village is just perfection, with a livelier strip within easy walking distance. Wouldn't change a thing.

A True Gem

George and his fantastic team make for such an amazing holiday. The service is superb and they remember returning guests with a genuine touch. The Blue Moon restaurant which forms part of the hotel serves high quality food incl a made to order breakfast incl fruit, yogurt, honey, eggs etc.

I absolutely loved my stay at Creta Blue. I stayed in one of the adult only rooms that had a hot tub on the terrace, overlooking the sea and it was simply magical. The communication and service with hotel staff was easy as can be and everyone was very helpful. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed here with our 18month old and they made us feel like family. Nothing was to much trouble. The village was a 5minute walk away with wonderful restaurants and cute shops. We stayed here and on the beach, for an authentic stay in Crete, little could beat this.

Creta Blue Boutique Hotel

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. We had a lovely suite tucked around the back, so was very tranquil. Stunning infinity pool. The hotel is up a steep hill but this means the view is fabulous. The traditional village of Koutoulafari is only 5 or so minutes walk down the hill- laden with traditional tavernas, souvenir shops, a mini golf, car hire places as well as cocktail bars etc. We chose half board which was served at The Blue Moon Restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was amazing.. fresh produce, local meats etc. The waitress Lavinia is the star of the restaurant.

Creta Blue is absolutely STUNNING! We were greeted by George the owner of the hotel who is incredibly kind and gracious. You can tell that this hotel is more than a family business, it is a passion project with no details spared. The staff here is wonderful and they really make you feel so comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and it is clear they put a lot of effort into the decor. It feels like a slice of heaven. The views of the ocean are 180 degrees. We had dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic. I highly recommend the shrimp Sagnaki! I would have no hesitation booking this place. It was the nicest accommodation we had in our 2 weeks in Greece!

Quiet and relaxing property up on the cliffs about 25 minutes outside of Heraklion. Great place to get away from the noise and traffic of the city. The rooms are some of the most spacious you will find in the area for the price they offer, although not as modern as the pictures show and a few of the sea view balcony rooms may have their view blocked by the building. There is also not a lot of parking, and you will have to walk up the hill to the rooms, so it's not ideal for anyone out of shape or disabled. I would say for the price, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quiet stay, and there are actually multiple amazing restaurants within walking distance in the quaint and beautiful town of Hersonissos. The pool is also well kept and clean, and the staff is highly accommodating.

Sehr nettes Personal und wirklich schön auf den Berg gebaut. Allerdings musste für über 200 Euro die Nacht schon mehr Comfort und Extras (kein riechender Abfluss und ruhige gedämmte Zimmer) vorhanden sein. Bar wurde man immer wach , wenn einer der Nachbarn gespült hat. Außerdem würde ich bei dem Preis auch keine leere Minibar erwarten. Es war trotzdem sehr schön und bei einem günstigen Angebot würden wir wiederkommen .
