"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful rental home. The house itself is cozy, clean, and well furnished, with large floor to ceiling windows that overlook the peaceful woods and stream behind the property. In the morning and evening, we enjoyed watching the deer wander through the yard, which made the whole experience feel peaceful. The home is located in a lovely resort community with access to tennis courts, a lake and golf course, giving us plenty to enjoy without even leaving the neighborhood. It was the perfect balance of privacy and convenience.Another big plus was the location, only about 25 minutes to Deep Creek Lake where there are tons of activities, restaurants, and outdoor adventures. After a busy day exploring, it was nice to come back to a cozy and scenic place to relax. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway."

"We had to come into town for a family emergency and needed somewhere clean and quiet to stay as my husband is still immunosuppressed from 4 years of cancer treatments. The staff were wonderful, especially the lady in housekeeping. She was helpful and super sweet. The rooms are kind of dated, but it was clean and quiet. Lots of pillows, mattresses were nice. There is a lovely patio for each room and the scenery is really breath taking. Only real downside was breakfast was mentioned on the website and on a little sign posted on-top of the tv in the room, but when we went in search of breakfast we were told they no longer offer that. Overall we were pretty happy with our stay and would go back again. "

"The house was nicely decorated and the rooms were as described, with one important exception. There is a nice, large living room with a foosball table, tv, and games, but it was totally unusable during our stay (January) as the heat is essentially non functional in that room. Just to keep the kitchen and dining room somewhat comfortable, we had to keep that room shut off. That made for less usable space during the stay, which was a shame. That room would benefit greatly from a mini split, or a space heater. There is no fireplace in the house, and it was also a bit cold on the main level. Upstairs was warm, by comparison. House was clean, but it's in the woods, so there were some signs/sounds of rodents (somewhat expected) and attempt to bate them. Very close to Swallow Falls and Herrington Manor state parks."

"Host was quick to respond to any questions. The interior of the house was really nice-modern, nicely furnished, and clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The owners have thought about almost everything. I would recommend putting a rug or boot tray by the door to help contain the mess of snowy boots in the winter. We were not informed that the community pool is closed due to renovation ahead of our arrival. It wasn’t a huge deal but that would have been nice to know. There were a lot of little extras we didn’t expect such as hand soap, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, sugar, salt and pepper etc. We brought all of those things but it was nice to have the backups in case we forgot something. Something of note for future renters, the coffee maker is a keurig. Some kcups were provided by the owners but we had planned for ground coffee as the listing stated “coffee maker” but luckily part of our party was still at home upon our arrival and was able to bring kcups. We enjoyed spending New Year’s Eve there with friends. We live only 50 minutes away but it was a nice change of pace. We would love to come back and explore more when the weather is better. We arrived just about an hour or so before dark and were greeted by several deer. That was cool (and a bit unnerving at the same time because they kept coming closer) but we are no strangers to wildlife. I would stay here again. "
