"This is a lovely oasis, with easy access from the road, which thankfully, isn't too busy. My husband and I, our two teen daughters, and his parents, enjoyed our stay in July 2026. The lake is beautiful and we appreciated having access to kayaks and a canoe. Despite our misfortune of timing with wet weather, my hubby and his dad managed to fit in canoe/fishing time. I've stayed in many rentals over the years and the thing that stands out about this one is the great lighting. I appreciate that there's plenty to go around and nightlights and shelves, too. I appreciated a variety of thoughtful touches, including helpful info, with tips in a binder, too.If mattress firmness is important to you, these are not. Something to be aware of with the basement is that there's no door to the bedroom section (after you take the stairs and turn the corner) which lets in light/noise from the main level. I recommend that the people staying down there be the ones who have a tendency to stay up later than the others in your group.We made some lovely new memories in this pretty location! By the way, Fratello's Italian restaurant is charming and has delicious food in Laconia, with great GF options, too."

"We had a wonderful stay! The property is conveniently located near all area activities, including downtown Meredith, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the other lakes. It's the perfect balance of a secluded, serene feel while also being close to stores and activities. We found the rental to be clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The keurig coffee bar, breakfast sausage, and eggs provided by the hosts were the icing on the cake. The farm itself is beautiful. While being a working farm, it was very well maintained and enjoyable to walk around and see all of the fun things they are growing/doing.Kate, Ken, and Family (both their human kids and four-legged family members), were all an absolute pleasure to meet. They were very accommodating and provided excellent communication. Thank you :)"

"The house was quite spacious. We had a total of 16 people and there were plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone. There was lots of space in the backyard for a game of wiffle ball and capture the flag. We all enjoyed sitting around the campfire and making smores. The hot tub was enjoyed by the Dad's. There is a small beach just a 3 minute drive away and that was just perfect - especially for the younger children so that was a big plus. The water was clean and the beach was sandy with plenty of shade around if you don't want to be in the sun too much. We loved the fact that the property was very private and very quiet."
