Top Heritage Park and Nature Area Hotel Reviews
Bally’s Lake Tahoe Casino Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay and there was so much to do! Our room was spacious and we had a great view of the Heavenly mountain. We ate at both the Del Soul (breakfast/dinner) and Ciera Steak & Chophouse (dinner) restaurants as they were both excellent food with excellent staff. We loved the indoor pool and PuzzleRoom EscapeRoom and attended both; the staff was great at both. While we did go to the Starbucks, it was extremely busy and constantly backed up with long lines. We also loved hanging out in the game room, however, some of the games were out of order and a bit dated. If it was updated, more people would definitely use it. All in all, we had a memorable family experience and it was a great value for the stay."
Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa

"One of the best beach views; great place to relax and rewind."

"The updated room was great, the bed was comfortable and we had a great inepxensive sleepover in Tahoe"
Historian Inn
8/10 Good
"Clean room, friendly staff, easy parking. Our room was large and had plenty of places to store our bags. Hot water in the morning for tea. Overall, a simple but nice option."
The Woodfords Inn
8/10 Good
"The breakfast is somewhat skimpy. You have to pick stuff up in the lobby and eat in your room. Nearby dining options are limited but the Cutthroat Tavern in Markleeville is pretty good."
Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort South
8/10 Good
"The bathroom was huge and excellent condition. The kitchenette was well stocked. Bed was firm and comfortable."
Carson Valley Motor Lodge & Suites
8/10 Good
"Clean room"
Desolation Hotel Hope Valley
8/10 Good
"We were here maybe 15 yrs. ago and the rooms were definitely more rustic. The updated rooms are simple, clean and cozy. The full and efficient kitchen was fine to make a nice dinner. The resort was winding down for the season and staff minimal and in late September the restaurant was closed so it was best to p/u food for breakfast and dinner. Minimal problems included the thermostatically controlled small gas fireplace that was somewhat erratic; sometimes the fan was too noisy at night. During the day the traffic noise made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful grounds, but quiet at night. Overall worth the stay to enjoy beautiful Hope Valley and trails on the property!"
