As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, travelling today comes with a few extra challenges. Take note of the following tips before boarding your flight to Henza:

• Understand if any restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check before you lock in your flight.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it to confirm your identity. Travellers who refuse to wear a face mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the building.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA employee. Instead, position your pass on the reader and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will have to be removed from your bag and submitted for screening.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, place personal items such as your phone, wallet and keys into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• If you want to take food on the plane, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.
