Beautiful little cottage

Beautiful little property. Great quiet location is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Property is in great condition and was kitted out with everything you’d need. Would definitely stay again, thank you!!!

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing and the cottage did not fully live up to the listing. Some of the photographs appeared outdated, while others seemed significantly enhanced, which gave a rather misleading impression of the property. The cottage itself was okay, and the hot tub was a real redeeming feature. However, the cleanliness could have been much better. There was quite a lot of dust, the washing machine was filthy, and there was hair in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the boiler also broke during our stay, meaning we had no heating or hot water. Thankfully the weather was warm, so the lack of heating wasn’t a major issue, but not having hot water was inconvenient. I contacted the host, who advised that the shower was electric and therefore we would still have hot water, and asked me to try the boost setting on the heating system. This didn’t resolve the problem. I then asked for the issue to be looked at, but unfortunately received no further response from the host, which was very disappointing. We only stayed for two nights, which was enough for us given the issues we experienced. It’s a real shame because the location is great, the nearby pub was lovely, and the cottage is well placed for visiting local attractions. Overall, there were some positives, particularly the hot tub and location, but the cleanliness, condition of the property and lack of communication when the boiler broke meant that we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

the property was lovely it was spotless and very well set up the only thing that let it down was the garden which was very untidy and uneven a plus would of been to have a book so people can write things and let over holiday makers know about things ie which take aways deliver to the cottage ,craft village down the road etc
