"Large hotel with efficient check in and luggage storage facilities. Staff were friendly. The room we booked (standard twin) was very small, the bathroom in particular was a very strange long narrow room that made it awkward to use. The TV started turning itself on every 10 minutes at 5am which was kind of annoying. The room was very hot but the air con was good. Pool was ok, a little tired but fine. Jacuzzi and steam room were out of order which was disappointing. Great location just off Kensington High Street."

"Funny how the little things matter the most when it comes to rating a hotel. I liked everything about this hotel except 1 thing! Bad pillows mean a bad night of sleep and when you just got off the “red eye” from the US, the pillows need to be soft and comfortable, they weren’t. They were flat and hard! Think about the difference between a nice dinner roll and a plain white cracker!"

"When I come back to London, I will definitely stay here. Things you cannot beat. 1. Location. It’s a .22 mile walk to Paddington Station, which can get you anywhere in the city quickly 2. The staff. The staff were completely top-notch….attentive, friendly. 3. Cleanliness. The property and room were always immaculately clean 4. Pricing. You won’t find a better deal anywhere in London for the location and the quality of hotel. Especially with breakfast included! Other tidbits The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, the breakfast itself is somewhat unimaginative, but it does get the job done. Coffee, tea, eggs, beans, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, fruit salad, porridge…etc. Certainly a good way to start your day and mitigate the expensive cost of food in London. Things some might complaint about, but we didn’t really care.(and neither should you.) The lift/elevator runs painfully slow slowly. This is an older constructed building, so the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going out in the hallway. Didn’t bother us, but it might bother you. There is no air-conditioning but ample heat. We were here in March so air-conditioning wasn’t an issue for us There was ample hot water in the shower and the water pressure was adequate. There is a small bar and sitting area and safe deposit boxes are available. "
