Parking was a bit hit and miss as there are a lot of rooms and not a lot of parking spaces

"This is a tricky one to score, so I'll elaborate here.
The property is lovely, more spacious than we expected and comfortably furnished. Combi boiler so hot water is plentiful. Great shower!
The location is absolutely perfect, centre of Pickering and on the A-road but not much street noise can be heard inside.
Cleanliness was generally good, although when checking we had everything on departure we found someone else's socks under the bed!
But...
Kitchen set up was rather sparse for a self...
"The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting...

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stilworth House. Couldn’t find fault if we tried. The best breakfast we’ve ever had in a b&b. The room had everything we needed and the hosts Carol and Frank were great, very knowledgeable of the area and nothing was too much trouble. Parking on site and very close to all restaurants and town centre. A gem."

"We had a very comfortable stay . We are regular visitors to Helmsley but it was a first for our guests . The parking for two cars is a huge bonus . The cottage is well equipped … well apart from a corkscrew 🙁. Our only observation was regarding the front door . It seems sealed . We were uncomfortable with this re fire exits . We had lovely weather . The owner may wish to look at garden furniture for wear and tear . A lovely visit . We will return . "
