Deerfield Cabin is secluded yet 1 block from downtown Helen! We are truly in the center of the city. Come sit on our rocking chair front porch or huge patio, enjoy the firepit, play a game of cornhole or horseshoes. You can grill under our pavilion, keep your drinks cold in the fridge and eat at our custom made picnic table. You can listen to the subtle sounds of music and laughter while feeling secluded from it all or, walk a block and you can be right in the middle of it all! The best of both worlds. Park your car in the driveway and you won't need it again until you leave. Everything is close, shopping, restaurants and bars with fabulous food or walk 2 blocks to Betty's Country Store and pickup whatever you need, such a cool store to visit.So much to do and see just steps away.

Great location and host!

Cabin was a 5 min walk from the main street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The cabin had everything you could possibly need from q tips to beach towels and air mattresses. There is zip lining,tubing white water rafting and horseback riding in the area. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!!

Great house with a great location

Our stay at Deerfield was great. This house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. The house was furnished and stocked with everything you need for a great stay. Truly was a home away from home. We loved how close to town we were as we easily walked to anywhere we needed to go.

You can literally walk to town which was the best for us. Nothing in the description was misleading we parked five full size vehicles in the drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

This cabin is so amazing. We come to Helen every Oktoberfest and stay here. It never disappoints. So close to town you can walk to everything. A pavilion was added since our last stay, it’s beautiful. Great way to end the trip relaxing and grilling.

Amazing property and location!

My family had a great time in Helen, and the trip was even better because of this property. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Ample parking and an amazing outdoor space. The Christmas decorations were great and made it feel like home! Nina was on top of communication and everything was seamless. Again, a great family vacation made even better because of this amazing property!

Wonderful home in a great location!!

Amazing home right in the heart of downtown Helen. The owners have thought of everything! We had 4 adult couples and had plenty of space. The house was clean and inviting. The outdoor space was a great way to unwind in the evening. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Deerfield Cabin is absolutely amazing! You can tell from the attention to detail that the owner takes great pride in this beautiful home. It is in the perfect location, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, groceries and even a park in this beautiful town. Thank you for making us feel at home.

Amazing all around!

This place was the perfect getaway for our group of 8! The three couples had their own space and then the guys took the loft up stairs. The host really thought of everything you can imagine!! The outdoor area was our perfect for entertaining! We will be back next year!

The Deerfield Cabin was the perfect home, and location for our family reunion! Nina was so helpful and accommodating to our needs. The home was clean, organized, and very well stocked. We enjoyed the outdoor patio/pavilion area, and spent a wonderful day shopping in Helen, which was just a short walk away. We are already planning our return next year!

We will be back!

The entire family loved the stay. We usually go somewhere different each Christmas but they have asked to return here next year. The amenities are above and beyond. Anything we needed was there as well as anything we forgot. Something very close for everyone including hiking, playground, shopping and groceries without ever leaving plus lots of space there for outside activities.

Great home, host and location in Helen!

We really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean and roomy enough for our party of 12. It had everything we needed to be cozy and warm even though it snowed and also had many amenities. We were able to walk to downtown shops and restaurants which we loved. Our host was awesome! She let us stay an extra night at no charge so we would not have to travel on icy roads due to a snow storm. We made great memories and left a lot of love there for our host and the next guests! . I would definitely recommend!

Exceeded Our Expectations

Great cabin and location for our group of 13. We've rented many VRBOs and have never seen one so well stocked. Cabin was clean and has a very comfortable, homey feel to it. Comfortable beds and the toddler bed worked out perfectly for our 3 yr old grandson. Enjoyed the Oktoberfest and Ruby Falls, and being able to walk to everything. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and Nina even put up birthday decorations - thank you!

Wonderful Stay

First off this property owner has thought of everything. It is really the best stock house we have ever rented. So much information in the house for things to do. It was an easy walk to town for the young people but a really big hill for us older folks to climb. Of course the next to last day we were there we got the thrill to see the Mommy Bear and 2 cubs come thru the side yard and that evening as a friend was leaving another bear was in the driveway. Over all Nina is a wonderful host. Our visit couldn't be more perfect.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!

First of all Nina is amazing to work with. She is so accommodating at this house is lacking for nothing. The space in this house was Perfect for our large family and my goodness the comforts of home abound! The location is private but so close to town and the yard, fire pit and outdoor pavilion provides a great entertaining space. This hostess really decorates for each occasion. We arrived on Christmas Day and the place was so festive and inviting! I would not even think of going to Helen and not staying here!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Best VRBO Experience Ever!

Phenomenal experience. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a rental property. We came to Helen for my daughter’s birthday with family & friends. The house had birthday signs/runners throughout the whole cabin. Nina has everything you want or need under the roof! Best location in Helen for a large party. Plenty of room for a party of 14. Very clean inside and outside is awesome for the kiddos to run around & explore! Look no further & book this cabin. Thank you Nina for an awesome experience and opening your cabin to us. We will definitely be back!

Perfect house in a perfect location in Helen

If this home is available for your stay, book it without hesitation! The location is within walking distance (like 5-6 mins) to the bridge over the Chattahoochee which is the central of all of Helen. A short 2-3 minute walk to Hofens and less than 5 minute walk to Bettys made this location excellent. Even though the house is so close to town we felt secluded in the mountains behind the tall trees in the yard. The pavilion, as we called it, is a wonderful outdoor hangout just steps from the house. Our group consisted of 12 adults who met up in Helen for an annual golf trip and the house worked out great for us! We will definitely book this house again when we return to Helen!

Best Helen Experience!

Deerfield was amazing! We brought 4 generations for Thanksgiving and this home was perfect! It has 3 "adult" bedrooms, each beautifully decorated, and a kids' suite in the loft. You could easily fit 5 or more kids upstairs. Nina and her Husband Tom may very well be the sweetest people on Earth! They made every effort to be the most amazing hosts possible. I have rented a few different vacation homes, but none compare to Deerfield! The location was also perfect! Walking distance from town, a playground, or hiking trails! I parked my car on Wednesday and never moved it until Sunday when it was time to go home. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!
