We arrived before check-in from the US, and the team did a great job arranging an early check-in for us. The bed was very comfortable, the room was impeccable, and the hotel was very quiet. Unfortunately, my husband broke his wrist during our stay while hiking. Not only was the German healthcare system excellent, but the staff did a great job accommodating our extra night’s stay.

The hotel was easy to reach in a nice area. Check in was easy. Parking on-site was nice (but squishy). Room very nice. Plenty of outlets and air conditioning. We got a good price.

Comfy hotel in a good location

The location of the hotel is very good! The room is also quite comfy. However, it was not as "premium" as we thought it would be! The room is quite small and the view is between the buildings. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing with not so many things to choose.

-: Der Checkin hat trotz vorherigem Online-Checkin leider länger gebraucht. Die Tiefgarage: da muss man gut einparken können, da die Parkplätze eng sind. Aber es hätte in 100m Entfernung eine Alternative gegegen. Der Geruch in den Fluren war ein sehr aufdringlicher Duft. Das Bad war nur durch eine Schiebetür abgtrennt, man hört entsprechend alles, was im Bad passiert. Der Kühlschrank wurde einfach nicht richtig kalt. Und er musste erst eingeschaltet werden. +: Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab Zusatzhandtücher. Die Betten waren bequem (ausgenommen die kleinen Kissen, die die "Luft hielten"). Zimmerreinigung nach Bedarf. Es konnte gelüftet werden. Endlich mal Vorhänge, die den Raum richtig verdunkelt haben. Kein großartiger Lärm trotz Straße. Super Lage, um alles zu Fuß zu erleben. In direkter Umgebung viel Gastronomie.

Our room was on the forth floor and had a fantastic view of the Castle. It was a very quiet room - could not hear traffic, other guests, etc. Very comfy beds.

Wir wurden an der Rezeption mehrfach unfreundlich bis ignorierend behandelt. In der Tiefgarage liegt viel taubenkot und Federn herum. Im ganzen Hotel riecht es nach Putzmitteln.

I’ve given a positive rating BUT please be aware that if you book a jr suite room you will be blasted by thumping disco music late into the night. We changed hotels because of this problem. Management and staff were very understanding and gave us options including a refund. It’s too bad because the hotel is nice and is in a good location.
