Very cute area with a great bakery. We didnt try the breakfast at the hotel as the bakery was so good. Our kids had their own bed. A nice wuiet location to recover after a long flight.

Very nice stay. Cute and clean property. Convenient location. Yummy breakfast. Staff very nice and friendly. Parking is a little difficult in the area. They have limited courtyard parking for a few and must reserve in advance. Regardless of parking, would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was extra at 18 euros per person which was very expensive for what was offered The hotel is not air conditioned and unfortunately temperatures reached 90 during our stay The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is very good for restaurants and access to public transportation

The room was a good size for the family, but the two problems with the otherwise good hotel was the lack of parking (if you didn't reserve a parking spot ahead of time you get a card that lets you street-park within a section of the town), and it was not possible to take a proper shower, which I suspect is because we were on the top floor. If you are a solo or couple traveller with no car (or a parking reservation) this would probably be a 5 star hotel for you.

Tolles Hotel mit super Lage und herzlichem Service

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel rundum genossen! Es liegt schön in Handschuhsheim – ein ruhiger Stadtteil, von dem aus man gemütlich in ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß in die Heidelberger Altstadt spazieren kann. Die Zimmer sind neu, modern und sehr schön eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und hilfsbereite Team – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Frühstück war lecker und sehr umfangreich – für jeden etwas dabei. Besonders toll: Unsere beiden kleinen Kinder (3 und 4 Jahre alt) durften sogar kostenlos mitessen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir sind begeistert von dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, modern und hochwertig eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir sind mit unserem Baby gereist und auch das hat hier super geklappt. Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Der Deutsche Kaiser liegt mitten in HD- Handschuhsheim. Wir haben dort einen Freund besucht, dies war unsere Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, das Duschen in der Badewanne ist etwas "outdated". Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen - wir haben in den nahegelegenen Gastwirtschaften gegessen.

Das Hotel ist neu saniert. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist modern. Ich habe allerdings einen Wasserkocher oder kleine Kaffeemaschine vermisst. Ebenfalls stehen keine Trinkgläser auf dem Zimmer. Im Bad wäre ein Vergrößerungsspiegel schön.
