"The property is tired and not maintained. The list of what went wrong in my room alone is long in addition to no air conditioning turned on in 31 C weather. Excuses given. Along with excuses changing: lies. Management is terrible. Guests are not first. Money is. It’s clear and it feels terrible. River views are not river views. We will never return We are at the Mainz Hilton right after Heidelberg and have experienced five star service which showed up even more how terrible Heidelberg Marriott is in all aspects except its breakfast buffet. And even that was the same old same old day after day. The Hilton Mainz charged less for its true river view deluxe rooms AC on and working. All amenities working. Free water in the rooms. (Had to pay for water at the Heidelberg Marriott)."
