The Barn Heathcote - Rural Escape
We like to think of it as a rural warehouse! Hidden behind the rough sawn timber exterior of our American style timber barn you will find a light and bright welcoming space.
It has everything you could wish for! Comfy place to eat, relax and unwind!
Step outside the barn doors and wander around the 6 acre property.

It has everything you could wish for! Comfy place to eat, relax and unwind! Step outside the barn doors and wander around the 6 acre property.
Inside "The Barn" you will find yourself relaxing in no time! You will find a cosy lounge area with comfy couches, wood fireplace, large coffee table perfect for boardgames and a flatscreen TV. Large kitchen area with fridge & freezer, small portable electric oven, two hot plates, microwave, kettle & toaster as well as a small hooded gas BBQ outside. 6 seater timber dining table in the dining area. A growing library where you can pull up a chair and get lost in the many books. Upstairs in the mezzanine you will find the main bedroom with super comfortable queen size bed and lounge area. To make yourself comfortable you will find large chest of drawers, clothes rail and sideboard for your bags. The second sleeping area (queen bed) is in the downstairs area. Attached to the outside of the barn is the bathroom complete with hot shower, basin, mirror & hairdryer. The toilet is located in separate outhouse, as we are not on town water and sewer, the toilet is a composting toilet - but dont let hat put you off - its quiet luxurious. Outside you will find multiple tables and chairs including up by the dam.
NB fire restrictions exist during warmer months so lighting outdoor fires during this period is strictly prohibited.
We do try our best but as it is a timber barn in the country sometimes dust or cobwebs are missed by our cleaners.
You will have full use of the property for your stay.
You will have the place to yourself! We are contactable via phone and email and have a property manager who lives nearby for anything you may need or any unexpected issues.
The property boasts easy access to the town, with its restaurants, shops, galleries, boutiques, cafes, and so much more. The surrounding country also has a number of trails, wineries, and parks to explore.
Pets are welcome at the barn - but we must be advised prior Strictly no pets on furniture or upstairs in the mezzanine They must be toilet trained and any outside mess must be placed into the bins.
NB the last few kilometres and driveway involves dirt roads, nothing to worry about and well maintained.
Strictly no events or commercial activities including but not limited to photography permitted without prior consent and additional fees paid. Please contact us to discuss.
