"Staying at this beautiful, quaint and historic cottage was like jumping in a Time Machine and going back to a more relaxing time in history. Its compact quirky nature was one of the aspects we enjoyed the most along with the location and stunning views.
The property is very clean, well stocked and has a great guidebook with solid recommendations for all your local activities.
There is much to explore nearby and the views in every direction are breathtaking.
The Shoreline Heritage Trail is one of the greatest hikes I’ve ever experienced with an amazing “history lesson” included and scenery unlike anything you’ve encountered before.
The Madrock Cafe is a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch with delicious traditional delicacies and a super friendly staff and owners.
Jungle Jim’s Eatery is another fine local choice and all amenities are located nearby.
Even if you don’t do the entire trail head down to the end of the road to Mad Rocks and climb up for a very special experience.
Overall it was a highly enjoyable, albeit too brief, stay at a very unique and special property!"
