"Clean, comfortable room. More than adequate free parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Some rooms face to the outside, but when the desk clerk realized I was traveling alone, he made sure I was in a room with an entrance on the inside. The location of the inn is very convenient, and I felt completely safe, but I thought that was very thoughtful of him. Complimentary continental breakfast of a warm blueberry muffin, yogurt with blackberry puree and orange juice was delivered to my room at the time requested. They would have delivered coffee as well, but I'm not a coffee drinker. There is an upscale restaurant in the hotel that is a bit pricey, but the food was excellent and I was able to enjoy dinner with my family in an atmosphere where we didn't have to shout to be heard. Would recommend both the inn and the restaurant."

"Luz was the best. We live in South Florida and my wife and l were moving our things out of a nearby storage unit all morning long in Avon Park. Finished around 1:30 pm. We asked Luz if we could check in at 2pm, she checked our assigned room, but it was not ready. She said, don’t worry we will get you a different room, she did and we were able to check in, take shower and relax instead of waiting until 3 pm to check in! Luz’s the best!!!!!"

"The place was as old as can be, and the craziest part of where you didn’t think it would be cool and the owners took the time to make every room eccentric from a different error and the sitting area and the morning breakfast was just fabulous. Great host. I recommend everybody stay here."

"Well my side of the bed had a crumpled fitted sheet on it and instead of color white, someone had slept in it. Beige looking. The A/C had no cover and the bathtub had peeled plastic where you take a shower. I placed a towel over it before stepping it."
