Family Polar Picnic

Was a prefect location to do some outdoor adventures. Easy access to the lake for some ice fishing fun. Plenty of parking for family to come and go while visiting.Enough run for the group without running into each other.Enjoyed the stay

Timmy Memorial Ice Fishing Tournament

The property could definitely use updates and some deep cleaning. Lady bugs (the biting ones) were a big problem!

It's an old resort lodge. You know what you're getting into. I mean, there's a bar in the place. It's a ton of fun. Just book it already.

Great place on a wonderful lake

Building is old but it had everything we needed for cooking, fishing, tubing, and relaxing. Access to the bar was a hit with the kids. Owner was easy to work with and a great host.

Rustic North Woods historic cabin

Just stayed at the Big Chip escape. Pictures don't do justice to the unique and nostalgic cabin with the best view of the lake of any cabin on the Chip. Gary was hospitable and available whenever we had a question. The cabin itself is a unique North Woods experience with all of the features that a group from 5-14 would need.

Skilly Big Chip Lodge

Good place for a family vacation, great old lodge, the bar area is just like stepping back to the 70s or 80s in an old Northwoods lakeside bar, and it's yours for the week.

Great location and view!

Thoroughly enjoyed the property, view of the Flowage, access to the dock and awesome bar area. Lots of room for 7 guests too. Deck and lawn area was perfect for yard games. We saw a lot of wildlife including loons, deer, eagles, ducks and fishing was good.

Very quiet Very peaceful

Gary was a great host. Area was incredible. I highly recommend checking this place out in the fall. Place accommodated 14 adults with no issues!

Great Time/Fishing Trip

Our group had a great stay, Views are incredible! Really enjoyed the bar space, common areas and all the amenities (wifi, cable tv, music). Being right on the water is great, no long walks to the dock. Huge deck to enjoy with beautiful views of the water. Would definitely book again

Great fishing destination

Great location on a great big body of water that provided great fishing (once getting really good tips from Gary and local bait store) Really good conveniences on site like piers, firewood live minnows, fish cleaning house! The cabin is old school and very rustic. The bar is cool as is the deck. Gary the owner was extremely nice and friendly. All the fishing conveniences you could ask for! We will be back

Friends group trip

Lodge was plenty large enough for our group with a beautiful view looking over the bay. The bar was great to have as well. Gary was very nice and helpful the pontoon was excellent for the group of us to cruise around!

Rustic lodge with a nice view of Moore’s bay. Having your own bar is great, spent most of our time off the ice hangin at the bar.

Great Vacation

Love the Chippawa Flowage, the cottage is great for a large group, we had 6 adults, 2 teens, and 4 kids under 10. There was plenty of room for all. We've already rebooked for next year.
