Enjoy a relaxing stay in the Corn Mill, a grade-II-listed water mill in Middle Mill and one of the historic mills originally belonging to the Bishop of St Davids.
Located in the peaceful hamlet of Middle Mill, the Corn Mill is a one mile walk down a country lane to pretty Solva, with its gift shops, pubs, cafes, and natural harbour.
Comfortable and attractively furnished, the property is easy to enjoy, with plenty of features, including slate, wooden, and quarry-tile floors, original doors and finishes, exposed beams, and that all-important wood-burning stove.
Within the immediate area, you'll find plenty to do, including lots of hiking (inland and on the coastal path), and visits to masses of fantastic beaches, historic buildings (St David's Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace), art galleries, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. There's also access to activities such as surfing, coasteering, kayaking, windsurfing, sea fishing, boat trips, pony trekking, and the like.
Or you could just stay in the mill's pretty gardens, playing croquet (cross-country style) or opening a bottle by the river, which runs through the garden.
Changeovers are on a Saturday. Default per-night prices are for a 4-night break. Discounts apply automatically when you select weekly stays (7 nights or 14 nights). Zephen Properties offers discounts for returning guests. Enquire to receive best prices.
Note that, as well as the river, there's water on site in the form of the leat (mill stream), and that the Corn Mill shares a drive with neighbouring properties.
