The cleaness of the exterior spoke for itself, rooms were better than expected and the staff were amazing and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will surely be back in future. Very family friendly and close to all amenities.

Aircon needed cleaning out, as it had a bad odor when turned on I found a live White tail spider inside room The bed had worn out Mattress springs, which made sleeping in it uncomfortable. Toaster alliance had a broken pop-up mechanism Room could do with an update and refresh decor. Very helpful and friendly staff though! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room itself felt dated and lacked proper maintenance. I noticed several cleanliness and repair issues, including a semi-broken front door hinge, a mouldy dishwashing liquid bottle, and a shower that didn't meet hygiene expectations. On the positive side, the location is excellent with ample parking and is within easy walking distance of New World and several local eateries.

We hadn’t booked a motel in Havelock North for many years but had stayed here a long time ago and knew it was spacious and in a great location adjacent to the village shops and an short drive to other attractions. We were delighted to find that the motel had been beautifully maintained and recently painted. Our room upstairs was well-furnished, light and bright, and it had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. Checking in and out was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be back (sooner rather than later this time!).

Great place to stay convenient location, but just wanted to mention, it was not great that the cleaning lady banged on our door at 9.45am…. Check out is 10am, she should not have done that, not a pleasant feeling, feeling rushed to leave.
