"Met with a lovely friendly welcome and was especially grateful as was for 2 nights over the Xmas period. Spacious room with lovely bathroom. Loved the patio which was frequented by blackbirds and sparrow and we also saw a Pukeko each day."

"Nothing really wrong. Comfy clean. It does need a little update and definitely needs a curtain or drape over the kitchen window to keep out the light in the morning! And the fridge was very noisy especially since it is right next to the bed. But I did enjoy my short stay and I would go back."

If the weather allows, we totally recommend asking your fabulous hosts to set up the outdoor bath tub for you in the evening. Our candlelight soak next to a crackling bon fire, listening to ruru and pukeko calling on a still night was wonderful!"

Despite it raining during our stay, we enjoyed a hot spa, and even a brisk but refreshing swim in the large pool. The breakfast was plentiful, with a great range of cereals. "
