"I’ve stayed six or seven times. Ōtaki breaks a long drive before driving onto the ferry. It’s spotlessly clean. The room rate is reasonable and this little motel has everything I could need. The patio opens onto a reserve."

"As ever, my stay at this amazing cabin did not disappoint, from the attention to detail in the cleanliness, to the filled wood basket and already laid fire, which was even more appreciated as it was full on raining. The view never tires, nor does having a bath outside in the rain, listening to a thunderstorm. Rain, sun, storms and clouds don’t make a difference when you have a few nights here to unwind, relax, retune to yourself and just ‘be’. Going to book before they close for winter."
