"This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls. "

"Hotel Hirschen Glottertal is a lovely hotel in a very quaint village. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a home base around many hiking trails and beautiful nature. The facilities and amenities are exceptional. It was a delight to explore the wonderful scenery and come back from a hike to a relaxing sauna session. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast and restaurant delightful. "

"The office was closed when we arrived during the stated check in times, but we were able to ring the residence of the hotel manager. One of the rooms did not have towels, and the bed linens were not clean. The breakfast was superb! Overall, the place is very quaint and homey. "

"KrÀuter Chalet is beautiful! It is an older hotel, but well taken care of. The room we had was a bit small for our group of 3, but the views from our window and balcony made up for that. They have free parking, which is always a plus. The wifi was a bit spotty in our room, however, it worked great on the main level, we weren't there to surf the internet so this wasn't a big issue for us. The restaurant was a nice bonus after our long day on the road."

"We had a lovely time at Höhengasthaus Kolmenhof. The location is beautiful with lots of nice hiking paths around the property. There was as indoor and an outdoor playground for the kids which were great!!! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 2 adults plus 2 small children and nicely decorated. The only down side is that the restaurant closes for 2 nights a week so one must organize an alternative on these days...
