"My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Our unit had one bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchen, and a small living room area with a sleeper sofa. The unit was updated and very clean. The kitchen was adequately stocked and there was a space saver microwave/oven mounted over a 2 burner stove top for cooking. There were 3 barstools to eat at counter. There was a tv in living room area and one in the bedroom. There was a small balcony overlooking the marsh area leading to the sound. The view was very nice. The villas are connected by a walkway to the shops at Hatteras Landing where there are a few shops and a couple places to eat. There are several dining options in the area and a small grocery store nearby. The beach is close within walking distance but we only utilized the drive on beach areas. There was a very large clean pool with plenty of chairs and some tables. We weren’t sure if it would still be open but it was and we utilized it one of the days we were there. There is a laundry area on each of the 2 levels along with an ice machine. Kees Vacations did a great job with communication about our upcoming stay, check in, what to bring for the unit and the checkout procedure. You are given a start up supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and a dish sponge etc. The unit has a key code to enter which was convenient since we arrived after office hours. I would highly recommend staying here!! "

"It was a wonderful experience. We had never stayed at a VRBO and so were apprehensive, but this was great. Mark Turner was great always responding in a timely manner. The place was just right for the 2 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub, there was a washer/dryer there--we didn't use and a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. Everything was perfect and I would recommend this to anyone with just 2 people."

"Had a wonderful stay at Hidden Gem. Spacious, beautiful house with magnificent views of the ocean inside the house and on the decks. Short walk to the beach. Restaurants, grocery stores, shops and ferry ride to Ocracoke short driving distances. Would love to stay again."

"The Cabana in Hatteras is perfect for a couple or small family to stay close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and loved the community. Best coffee in the area! The management was super helpful, and answered all our questions quickly. The pool at the club house was very nice and our teens enjoyed too. We loved sitting on the decks especially the top one. If you are looking for a quaint place near the beach this is for you! "

"We have a wonderful week staying in Log Shaker of Salt. The good far outweighed the bad. Minor bads: The Two large stove burners didn’t work, CD player didn’t work “nocd” code for multiple disks. No problem for us, as we don’t usually watch TV on vacation. They can use a high table on top deck for snacks and drinks while watching the sunset. Overall fine vacation. with Netflix and Prime. "
